Hamilton Home on Weiss

We really did have a great time on the lake and enjoying the property, it had a good gathering space inside and a nice pier on the lake and we appreciate the speed on getting back to us about any questions that we had. Some improvements I would suggest are: - When we arrived the floors seemed dirty. The beds and other things seemed like they were clean though and were great. We just noticed on our socks that they got pretty dirty after walking around the house. - Also the lack of some more basic utensils in the kitchen, we didn't really plan to need anything like that so we didn't necessarily have the things needed for cooking some of our meals. - The dock really was great, but there were multiple wasp nests on the inside of the roof on the second level of the dock. None of us got stung but I could definitely see it being a problem. -The back patio I think could use some improvements. The Blackstone grill was quite rusty and dirty and it seemed to be in a little disarray and not a great place to gather, which we were looking forward to doing but this property didn't really have a great place to do so outside other than the dock. A fire pit would have been perfect! - The last thing is the dog (we affectionately named Brownie) came around usually in the afternoons. All in all he seemed like a friendly dog so we weren't worried about safety or anything but he was quite dirty and stinky. So he wasn't the most pleasant thing to have around. Even with these "issues" we truly had a great time staying here. It's always easier to think about the negatives than the positives, and the positives definitely out-weighed the negatives. With just a couple improvements this place could definitely be a 5 out of 5 stars! Thanks!
